The Boston Chapter of the IMA is excited to host Joseph Brunsman from Brunsman Advisory Group to speak with our membership regarding cyber knowledge and cyber security for management accountants. Joseph will tackle the fundamentals of cybersecurity controls, useful internal controls to minimize cyber risk and cyber crime loss, regulatory requirements requiring special controls, what could/should be in a cyber insurance policy, why cyber insurance premiums are skyrocketing and what happens after a cyber event. Joe is no stranger to the IMA and always promises an insightful and informative presentation.

Joseph Brunsman, author, speaker and insurance broker holds degrees in Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity Law. Joseph uses his technical background to solve complex cybersecurity problems for insurance companies. He is the co-author of three bestselling books , including two on cybersecurity. Last year alone, he worked on two to three breaches per week and he is the founder of Brunsman Advisory Group, an insurance brokerage focusing on Professional Liability (E&O), Employment Practices and Cyber Insurance Coverage. He can be found weekly on his YouTube Channel- Joseph Brunsman- where he speaks about the latest in cyber insurance and cybersecurity law.
